Vision & Mission
We're a 501c3 nonprofit who specializes in rescuing animals from high-kill shelters in North Carolina. Our goal is to bring animals and humans together to create forever, sacred bonds. We believe when the perfect match is made, animals and humans have the ability to heal each other. Loving the unwanted, we work to show how important each and every one of us is, animals and humans alike.
The Founder
Fia has spent her entire life loving and helping animals. It all started at the age of two with her fluffy Himalayan kitty, Froufrou. Since then she has gained a bachelors degree in animal science, worked at a veterinary clinic in California, completed an internship at a veterinary clinic in Australia, volunteered at an animal sanctuary and butterfly farm in the Amazon, along with a wolf sanctuary in Colorado, and rescued/re-homed countless animals along the way. Her goal is to ensure each rescue will be safe and never end up in a shelter again for the rest of their lives. Fia has three dogs and two cats of her own and will never stop helping animals in need.
